25 years ago, the ball dropped on Y2K and for the decade to follow, I was there to eat up all the music. The apex of hipster rock and nu metal. Britney & Christina, *N Sync & The Backstreet Boys. Moby & Eminem. Most of it was garbage, of course, but some of it has aged well and a couple hundred have even become canon.
